Somewhere between the waking world and oblivion, there exists a Border.
For most, it is invisible — a boundary they'll only cross once, at the very end. But ONYX can see it. Has always seen it. And lately, the Gates along that Border have been breaking open.
Something is leaking through. Something is hiding behind the faces of ordinary people, warping their minds from within. And the only way to stop it is to go beyond — to step across the Border of Life and unmask whatever waits in the dark.
